Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Den & Burrow (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit denandburrow.com (the “Site”), request a quote, or use our services. By using the Site or our services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact details you submit through a form, phone call, or email (name, phone number, email address, service address, and any details about the work you need).
  • Newsletter subscriptions when you opt in to seasonal tips or company updates.
  • Usage analytics collected automatically when you browse the Site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring URL).
  • Cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use it

  • To respond to quote requests and schedule appointments.
  • To deliver the services you have booked.
  • To send service confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages related to your appointment.
  • To send newsletter content if (and only if) you have opted in, with the ability to unsubscribe at any time.
  • To improve the Site, our pricing, and our service offerings.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

3. SMS and text messaging

When you check the text-message box on our quote form, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Den & Burrow at the mobile number you provide. Our services and our messaging program are offered only in the United States, to U.S. mobile numbers, for our local service area.

  • Types of messages. We send service messages (quote replies, appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups about a job) and, if you opt in, occasional marketing messages with offers and seasonal tips.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to marketing texts to request a quote or book a service.
  • Message frequency. Frequency varies based on your activity and the status of your job.
  • Rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opt out. Reply STOP to any text to cancel. We send one confirmation and then stop messaging that number unless you start a new request.
  • Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (402) 690-3567 or info@denandburrow.com.
  • Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information or text-messaging consent is shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The phone number and SMS consent you provide are used only to operate the text-messaging program described above. We share your number with messaging vendors solely to deliver these messages on our behalf, and they may not use it for any other purpose.

4. Estimate Builder

Our Estimate Builder at calculator.denandburrow.com asks for your full name, email address and phone number before it shows your construction budget. Here is what happens with them:

  • Your report. We email your report to you. It names you and leaves out your email address and phone number.
  • Our copy. A copy with your name, email address and phone number goes to info@denandburrow.com so we can reply about your estimate. We keep it for one year, then delete it.
  • Two follow-up notes. We email you about your estimate on day 3 and day 7, then stop. Each note has a link to stop the rest, and booking a consultation stops them too. Your details are never added to a mailing list or used for marketing.
  • Booking a consultation. You pay for a consultation on Stripe’s checkout page, then pick a time on our Google Calendar booking page. Stripe collects your email address and card details to take the payment; we never see your card number.
  • What the calculator stores. Only keyed hashes of your email and IP address, which expire after an hour and enforce one report an hour, and a keyed code linked to your two scheduled follow-ups, which expires after eight days. It never stores your email address, phone number or the figures you enter. Our email and hosting providers may still process the operational data they need to deliver email and run the service.

5. Service providers we use

We share limited information with a small number of vendors who help us run the business. These vendors are bound by contract to use the information only on our behalf:

  • Email delivery: we use Resend to send transactional and newsletter emails.
  • Payments: we use Stripe to take payment for consultations. Card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
  • Hosting and DNS: the Site is served from a content delivery network and may be cached at edge locations.
  • Analytics: aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages and services people use.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising purposes.

6. How long we keep it

Quote-request information is retained for as long as is reasonably needed to complete the job and for legitimate business records. Newsletter subscription details are kept until you unsubscribe. Aggregated analytics data is retained on a rolling 24-month window.

7. Your choices

  • Email opt-out. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages tied to a booking will continue.
  • Text-message opt-out. Reply STOP to any text to stop SMS messages, or HELP for help. See the SMS and text messaging section above.
  • Cookies. You can decline non-essential cookies from the consent banner or via your browser settings.
  • Access, correction, or deletion. You may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you additional rights:

  • The right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • The right to request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
  • The right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not engage in either.
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise a California-specific right, email us at the address below and reference “California Privacy Request.”

9. Children

The Site is intended for adults arranging services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the Site.
