Why A Contractor Hiring Us Again Means So Much To Me

When a contractor hires us again and again, project after project, that’s the strongest feedback I get on our design work at Den & Burrow. They’ve worked with us before, and they’re choosing to bring us another job.

A homeowner might come to us because they want to build a custom house out in the country. That may be a one-time customer. A contractor has another project coming, with another end customer. They get to make that choice about who they work with again.

I’ve had multiple contractors refer clients to us, but also hire us repeatedly themselves. Both mean a lot to me. A referral is someone vouching for us. Hiring us again puts our work back into their construction process.

Repeat work gives me confidence that our design process is useful from a construction standpoint. Each new project also brings a different end customer whose needs we have to understand.

That’s why I put so much weight on a returning contractor. I take it as approval from someone who needs the design to work for construction and for their customer. For me, there’s no stronger endorsement than that next project.
